Originating from South Africa, this plant prefers bright, indirect light. Best kept away from harsh afrernoon/evening sun. The soil needs to dry out completely between waterings ('drench between droughts'). When finished watering, drain any excess water from the pot/tray. This plant prefers well-draining soil. Repot every one to two years.
